about us
Empowering men to connect with their emotions
HOW?
Traditions and core methodologies
Our approach to men's work combines mythopoetic traditions, Jungian principles, and transformative rituals to guide men in self-discovery and healing. Drawing on Robert Bly’s work and Ton's Return of the King, we use sharing circles, Open Space methodology, and live music by Beyers and Froyen to create a dynamic, co-created environment for emotional growth and collective connection. This approach fosters deep exploration, personal insights, and meaningful transformation.
WHY?
From head to heart
Heart of Men aims to help men unlock their emotional world, because traditional masculinity often leads to a lack of emotional connection and isolation. Through workshops and retreats, including music and rituals, men are invited to integrate both masculine and feminine qualities, find emotional support, and create a balance between autonomy and connection, in order to combat loneliness and its negative consequences.
WHO?
A team of all ages and walks of life
Our core team consists of our founders: men's work pioneer Ton van der Kroon, elder Jan Roelofs, and team members Sven Beyers, Vicky Froyen, and Dirk Koops. As our work grows globally, so does our team with additional supporters.
